Ahoy Captains,

New ships arrive with Update 1.5. You will now start with a very small vessel and will have to earn gold to afford the bigger and better ships. There is a total of eight ships now, each one with its own advantages and disadvantages.

This will be the last content update for now, as I consider the game to be content complete. Therefore, the game will no longer be free. If problems arise, I may patch or balance the game further in the future.

Important note: Your previous saves will not be compatible with this new version of the game for reasons listed below.

Additions:

• Added a tutorial screen that will help new players getting started
• Added four new ships

Changes:

• For testing purposes, the save game was not encrypted in the previous version of the game, which is not longer the case
• Renamed the save game file
• Balanced stats of all ships
• You will now start with one of the new ships (the new starter ship) instead of one of the best ships

Improvements:

• New Journeys now will start with full health and food (the maximum of your current ship)
• Finally, found and fixed the last of the remaining (known) animation bugs (encounters will now enter and leave the frame properly)
• Fixed a bug where you would gain food when you have a negative gold amount (it is the opposite way now, as intended)
• Fixed a bug where you would gain health when you have no food remaining (it is the opposite way now, as intended)
• Better scaling of the main menu for wider screens
• More polishing and bug fixes
